Ordering a handmade custom-built Samsa Guitar
Once we have received your enquiry, we will be in touch to arrange a telephone or video call to discuss your requirements. We will guide you through the process of designing your guitar and will make suggestions and recommendations based on what you tell us you are looking for. This is a collaborative process, and we will be with you all the way to make the experience simple and enjoyable.
Once we have agreed on the spec for your handmade custom-built guitar, we will mock up some images of the final design. This will help you to visualise your finished guitar and make any final adjustments. Once we have finalised the design, we will confirm the price, lead time and send you an invoice.
Purchasing a handmade custom or handmade ready built guitar
All prices on the website are shown in UK pounds sterling (GBP) and all payments will be taken in GBP only.
There are two purchasing options for ordering a handmade custom guitar.
Option 1: Pay the full price on placing your Samsa Guitars order.
Option 2: Pay 50% at the time of order to secure your guitar. Pay the remaining 50% balance on completion of the build and before shipping.
Neither option is prioritised in terms of production lead times. Paying by either option will not affect your position in the production queue as this is determined by the date in which an order is placed.
Once you have confirmed your order by paying the deposit, you have accepted responsibility for all charges, present and future, incurred with your order. This includes the price agreed for the purchase of your goods and services, and all delivery charges including any additional fees beyond our control.
Ready built guitars must be paid for in full before shipping. We do offer a payment plan to enable customers to reserve and pay for ready built guitars in instalments. The details of this can be discussed when you enquire about buying a ready built guitar.
All prices exclude delivery charges unless otherwise specified. Guitars and any parts remain the property of SAMSA Guitars until paid for in full. Invoices can be paid via Paypal or Bank Transfer.
Lead times for handmade custom builds
Lead times are given as a guide when placing your custom guitar order. We are very consistent in meeting the timeframes that we give our customers. However, lead times can change (increase or decrease) at any time.
For example, unforeseen circumstances may mean that production can take longer. If production takes longer than the estimated lead time, we will make you aware as soon as possible of any impact on the estimated completion date of your custom-built guitar.
We keep our customers updated on progress throughout the build process. If you have any questions, including how the production of your guitar is going or what the current lead time is, please get in touch.
When purchasing a Samsa guitar you are aware that it is custom and made to order and will take time to produce. A delay to the lead time of your guitar does not entitle you to cancellation, refund or discount.
Cancellation and warranty
Samsa Guitars offer a 48-hour cooling off period on all custom guitar orders, this means that you are only eligible for a full refund of your deposit within that period. Deposits paid for orders that are beyond the 48-hour period are not eligible for a refund.
All ready built and custom guitars purchased new, directly from Samsa guitars, come with a 12 month warranty against faulty workmanship.
Where a fault is identified that relates to faulty workmanship or faulty parts the fault will be rectified or if necessary, the guitar will be re-built. Samsa Guitars will cover the cost of shipping incurred during the process of rectifying a fault.
Shipping
We only ship within the UK. All our guitars are shipped with safety in mind and are well packaged and secured.
Customers pay for shipping costs and must supply us with an accurate delivery address, relevant contact phone number and suitable delivery date.
Samsa Guitars are not liable for any damages incurred during shipping.
Customer guitar photos
We take photographs, and at times make short videos, of the guitars that we are building to use as marketing content on our website and social media. We share details of the custom guitars we are working on but not the identity of our customers. By ordering a custom built guitar you are giving us permission to use images and video of the build online.
Data protection
We will not sell our database of customer information.
We will keep a record of orders, emails, receipts and call logs as proof of work agreed or undertaken.
All data that is collected and stored by Samsa Guitars will be done so in line with GDPR.
